This Pontiac Transam Turbo from 1981 is a real Smokey and the Bandit edition, or a special edition. Code Y84. (see cowl tag)
Car from the first owner, ordered in Belgium from a GM dealer in Boom (Antwerp) and only 28,800 km driven!
This car was ordered especially for the customer WITHOUT the Hurst Targa roof and WITHOUT leather upholstery! Which makes this car very unique and extremely rare.
Only 65 cars were made in 1981 without a sunroof and this is probably the only car made without leather upholstery for the European market. (see GM lists)

The car has been in storage for 18 years!
Condition of the car:
Interior is like new! Only the headliner comes off a bit. Everything else is in top condition.
The exterior is completely original paint and has some surface rust in the paint, at first glance no holes. Here and there slight scratches and/or small dents. The car is accident-free.
Rims are still very nice.
The engine runs and drives well, completely new braking system, new exhaust, new oils, new filters, new shock absorbers, spark plugs, ignition, etc. etc.
Hasn't ridden since.

Auto vom Erstbesitzer, in Belgien bei einem GM-Händler in Boom (Antwerpen) bestellt und nur 28.800 km gefahren!
Dieses Auto wurde speziell für den Kunden OHNE das Targa-Dach und OHNE Lederpolsterung bestellt! Das macht dieses Auto sehr einzigartig und extrem selten.
Im Jahr 1981 wurden nur 65 Autos ohne Schiebedach hergestellt, und dies ist wahrscheinlich das einzige Auto, das ohne Lederbezug für den europäischen Markt hergestellt wurde. (siehe GM-Listen)

Zustand des Autos:
Das Interieur ist wie neu! Lediglich der Dachhimmel löst sich etwas. Alles andere ist in einem Top-Zustand.
Das Äußere ist komplett originaler Lack und hat etwas Oberflächenrost im Lack, auf den ersten Blick keine Löcher. Hier und da leichte Kratzer und/oder kleine Dellen. Das Auto ist unfallfrei.
Die Felgen sind immer noch sehr schön.
Der Motor läuft und fährt gut, komplett neues Bremssystem, neuer Auspuff, neue Öle, neue Filter, neue Stoßdämpfer, Zündkerzen, Zündung, etc. etc.
Ist seitdem nicht mehr gefahren.

Voiture du premier propriétaire, commandée en Belgique auprès d’un concessionnaire GM à Boom (Anvers) et seulement 28 800 km parcourus !
Cette voiture a été commandée spécialement pour le client SANS le toit Hurst Targa et SANS sellerie en cuir ! Ce qui rend cette voiture très unique et extrêmement rare.
Seules 65 voitures ont été fabriquées en 1981 sans toit ouvrant et c’est probablement la seule voiture fabriquée sans sellerie en cuir pour le marché européen. (voir les listes des MJ)

État de la voiture :
L’intérieur est comme neuf ! Seule la tête d’affiche se détache un peu. Tout le reste est en parfait état.
L’extérieur est entièrement d’origine et présente un peu de rouille de surface dans la peinture, à première vue pas de trous. Ici et là, de légères rayures et/ou de petites bosses. La voiture n’a pas eu d’accident.
Les jantes sont toujours très belles.
Le moteur tourne et roule bien, système de freinage entièrement neuf, échappement neuf, huiles neuves, filtres neufs, amortisseurs neufs, bougies, allumage, etc. etc.
N’a pas roulé depuis.

Questa vettura è stata ordinata appositamente per il cliente SENZA il tetto Hurst Targa e SENZA rivestimenti in pelle! Il che rende questa vettura davvero unica ed estremamente rara.
Nel 1981 sono state prodotte solo 65 auto senza tetto apribile e questa è probabilmente l'unica auto realizzata senza rivestimenti in pelle per il mercato europeo. (vedi liste GM)

Condizioni dell'auto:
Gli interni sono come nuovi! Solo il cielo si stacca un po'. Tutto il resto è in ottime condizioni.
L'esterno è completamente originale e presenta un po' di ruggine superficiale nella vernice, a prima vista nessun buco. Qua e là lievi graffi e/o piccole ammaccature. L'auto è priva di incidenti.
I cerchi sono ancora molto belli.
Il motore funziona e marcia bene, impianto frenante completamente nuovo, scarico nuovo, oli nuovi, filtri nuovi, ammortizzatori nuovi, candele, accensione, ecc. ecc.
Da allora non ha più guidato.

Deze auto is speciaal voor de klant besteld ZONDER het Hurst Targa-dak en ZONDER lederen bekleding! Wat deze wagen zeer uniek en uiterst zeldzaam maakt.
Er zijn in 1981 slechts 65 auto's zonder schuifdak gemaakt en dit is waarschijnlijk de enige auto die zonder lederen bekleding voor de Europese markt is gemaakt. (zie lijsten van GM)

Staat van de auto:
Interieur is als nieuw! Enkel de dakhemel komt een beetje los. Al de rest is in topstaat.
Exterieur is geheel originele lak en heeft wat oppervlakteroest in de lak, op het eerste gezicht geen gaten. Hier en daar lichte krassen en/of kleine deukjes. De wagen is ongevalvrij.
Velgen zijn nog zeer mooi.
Motor loopt en rijdt goed, volledig nieuw remsysteem, nieuwe uitlaat, nieuwe oliën, nieuwe filters, nieuwe schokdempers, bougies, ontsteking, enz. enz.
Heeft sindsdien niet meer gereden.
